• How do I install the ContactOut Collector extension?
  Visit the Chrome Web Store, search for "ContactOut Collector", and click "Add to Chrome". The extension icon will appear in your browser toolbar once installed.
• Where is my collected data stored?
  All collected contact data is stored locally in your browser's storage (chrome.storage.local). No data is ever sent to our servers or any third-party service. Your data stays on your machine.
• How do I export my contacts?
  Click the extension icon in your toolbar to open the popup, then click the "Download CSV" button. Your contacts will be saved as a CSV file to your default downloads folder.
• How do I delete all collected data?
  You can clear all data by clicking the "Clear" button in the extension popup. Alternatively, uninstalling the extension will permanently remove all stored data.
• What is the difference between Simple and Advanced mode?
  Simple mode collects basic contact info (name, email, phone). Advanced mode additionally captures work history, education, skills, and other enriched profile data for comprehensive recruitment workflows.
